Our Story & Values
Gilgal Home Care & Registry was not born in a boardroom. It was born in the lived reality of caregiving — and built on the belief that every person deserves dignified, trustworthy care.
Our Story How We Work Our ValuesAbout the Founder
After six years working in healthcare and human services, I watched families struggle to find compassionate, trustworthy care for their loved ones. Too often, people were treated like case numbers instead of individuals created in God's image. I knew there had to be a better way.
I founded Gilgal Home Care & Registry because I believe care should be different. The name Gilgal represents a fresh start, reminding us that God can bring new beginnings even after difficult seasons. It is also a personal reminder to remain faithful and persevere.
While Gilgal began as a place where God's faithfulness was remembered, Scripture also reminds us that it later became a place where people lost sight of Him. For me, the name is a daily reminder to keep Christ at the center of everything we do — to serve with compassion, integrity, humility, and excellence.
Based in King of Prussia, we are proud to serve our neighbors throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania. My prayer is that every family we serve experiences more than quality care — they experience dignity, hope, and the love of Christ through the way we care for them.

How We Work
Gilgal is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health under 28 Pa. Code Chapter 611 as both a home care agency and a home care registry. Most agencies hold one licence and will tell you their model is the right one. We hold both, so you choose the arrangement that fits your family.
The caregiver is our employee. We recruit, clear, train, supervise, and pay them, and we carry payroll taxes, workers' compensation, and liability coverage. You are billed one hourly rate and never become anyone's employer.
You hire your own caregiver. We refer independent contractors from our cleared roster — and if there is someone you already know and want, we can run them through the same vetting and add them. You and the caregiver agree the rate between yourselves and you pay them directly. We handle the background clearances, reference checks, competency verification, and the Chapter 611 documentation. You keep the relationship and the scheduling.
Credentials & Background
With a foundation in leadership, human services, and business strategy, I am dedicated to providing high-quality care, support, and solutions that empower individuals, strengthen families, and help organizations grow.
The Meaning Behind the Name
In the Bible, Gilgal was the place where God rolled away the reproach of the past and prepared His people for what was ahead — a place of covenant, remembrance, and forward movement. It represents a fresh start, and a reminder that God can bring new beginnings even after difficult seasons.
But Scripture also tells a second half of the story: Gilgal later became a place where God's people lost sight of Him. That part of the name matters to us too. It is a daily reminder to stay faithful, to persevere, and to keep Christ at the center of everything we do — serving with compassion, integrity, humility, and excellence, not just on our best days but every day.
That is what we believe home care can be for families, caregivers, and entrepreneurs. A fresh start. A place of support and stability. A step forward — not just in care, but in dignity, purpose, and possibility.
What We Stand For
These are not aspirational words on a wall. They are the framework for every decision we make, every caregiver we place, and every resource we create.
Every person we serve — client, caregiver, or family member — carries inherent worth. We refuse to reduce people to their diagnoses, their limitations, or their circumstances.
Dignity shapes how we speak, how we listen, how we document, and how we show up.
We tell the truth even when it is inconvenient. We follow through on our commitments, operate in full regulatory compliance, and hold ourselves and our caregivers to the highest ethical standard.
Integrity means doing what is right when no one is watching, and taking responsibility when we fall short.
Home care is personal. Our clients are vulnerable. Their families are often overwhelmed. We enter every situation with empathy first — not paperwork first, not policy first.
Compassion means slowing down enough to actually hear what someone needs, and being brave enough to respond in a way that costs us something.
We set a high bar — for our caregivers, our documents, our training, and our client experience. "Good enough" is not good enough when someone's health, safety, or livelihood is on the line.
Excellence is why our resources are regulation-referenced and our policies exceed what DOH inspection requires.
We do not just provide a service — we equip people. Families leave our resources with more confidence. Caregivers leave our training with more capability. Entrepreneurs leave with a real plan.
Empowerment is why we publish guides at accessible prices and share everything we know.
Home care is inherently relational. We believe in building a community, not just a client list. That means checking in, following up, and genuinely celebrating the wins of every family and caregiver we work with.
Gilgal exists to be a gathering place — just like its namesake in Scripture.
Our Commitment to You
Every caregiver we place, every document we create, and every call we take is shaped by these six commitments. If you ever feel we have fallen short of them, we want to know — and we will make it right.
